This role will lead FedTech’s accelerator programs that are funded and built for the U.S. Department of Defense. You’ll be responsible for design, operations, and quality delivery of the various defense-focused accelerators that FedTech operates for its partners. You’ll be our resident expert in defense acquisition strategy, positioning FedTech’s programs as national-level leaders in transitioning technologies from the private sector to DoD. The outcome of your leadership will influence future defense acquisition policy in a data-driven manner, as well as directly influence deep tech startups’ ability to move from prize competitions/SBIRs/OTAs to major delivery contracts.

• Scale up our capabilities to transition 100s of technologies from startups to the DoD annually

• Manage and direct multiple projects across our portfolio, owning their profitability and expansion 

• Empathize with clients in the DoD, proposing novel strategies for technology transition to senior DoD policy experts

• Position FedTech as a thought leader in the defense innovation community

• Consult directly with our startups on a wide variety of tech development and business processes

• Creative out-of-the-box solutions using data and understanding of our space to implement ideas

• Nurture relationships across the Dept of Defense ecosystem on behalf of our startups

• Manage, develop and mentor junior staff

• Support broader team initiatives across the accelerators team; 

• Any other number of innovative tasks that help us achieve our mission - we’re a startup
