Joan P.H. Myers
Joan’s career has been at the intersection of national security and innovation and her expertise in the policy arena and government affairs has also led her to quietly assists leaders from Capitol Hill, U.S. corporations and Commands.
Joan is co-founder of Strategic Link Partners which she created with a partner retired out of a Special Mission Unit in the Special Operation Forces community and is a principal with Deep Water Point.
Joan is actively engaged in the global Eisenhower Fellowship program where she has studied Cyber Terrorism and security. In 2010 she was the chief architect of a Cyber Security Test Bed project for the Department of Homeland Security that engaged a holistic model of threat, training, and policy constructs. Joan was also appointed by President George W. Bush in 2004 to serve on the Presidential Rank Review Board. She has had a collaborative relationship with the FBI in the cyber and counterintelligence area that has spanned over two decades. She is a Certified Corporate Trainer and is a dynamic public speaker in the areas of leadership, threat, cyber, insider threat, asset protection, risk management, contingency planning and innovation. Joan serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Small Business Association and is an Executive Board Member of the Rick Herrema Foundation. She also is on the Advisory Board of Innovate-Educate and is a former Board Member of the Wake Tech Foundation and the National Association of Corporate Directors (RTP Chapter).
