A Little Bit About Art
Art Trevethan is helping the Army become a better business partner for small- and mid-sized companies. An entrepreneur through and through, Art spent more than 30 years founding, funding, and leading companies ranging across AITech, SocialTech, MedTech, DevTech, and foundational technologies. He also built a pretty hearty network and has shared his experiences back into the community as an advisor to several companies in the DevTech and SocialTech spaces. Now, Art brings his technical savvy and entrepreneurship chops to his role as Champion of Industry Opportunities for the Army Applications Laboratory (AAL). He and his team help AAL stay smart on market and technology trends and find opportunities to integrate into the vibrant ecosystem of solvers who may have never worked with the DoD before. With a deep grasp of industry as well as relationships, Art’s experience helps the Army understand the broader community and what it needs (as well as what it wants to avoid).
Army Futures Command > Army Applications Laboratory > Corporate Ventures, the modernization arm of the U.S. Army. Working with traditional and non-traditional Army suppliers, specifically engaging the startup and innovation space.
