A little bit about Miles…

Miles's career dates to the earliest days of the ARPANET and Internet. Along the way he's worked on defense information systems, led R&D efforts, built the non-profit Center for Civic Networking, built an email & web service bureau, and developed funded R&D programs for several small companies. He is the Author of "All Out Internet Access: The Cambridge Public Library Model" (American Library Association, Technology Trailblazers Series), and Telecommunications Strategies for Local Government (Government Technology Press), and served as Editor & Publisher for the Journal of Municipal Telecommunications.
