A little bit about Auberon …
Auberon “Dr. Cat” Sander, grew up in the mountains of western North Carolina. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at an early age. Whether that helped or hindered him is for others to decide but undoubtably it shaped him into the young adult he is today. His passion for computers and programming began when he was 4 or 5. By 6th grade he had taught himself scripting languages, SQL, PHP, and JavaScript. By 9th grade, he had learned C++. In Junior High and High School Auberon received several programming awards and commendations, including (and for which most proud), a faculty jacket awarded by the IT department staff, for his having hacked into systems 320 times, each time providing patches or “fixes.” His high school project brought him to the attention of the Department of Homeland Security, which reviewed the project and sent a representative to Henderson to with him. DHS finally approved the project along with certain conditions however his high school principal cancelled it. His programming and computers skills brought him to the attention of the NSA, CIA, and DIA - and later the FBI, which twice tried to recruit him. He invented two programming languages - emojiC and portaLANG. During his free time, he researched artificial intelligence, and developed an experimental framework of his own in C, which he later named "OSCR". He was offered a position at DeFi Investment Partners in Ohio as Lead Engineer where he led a 30-man team to develop a cryptocurrency for the firm's investor pool. Auberon launched the CATNIP DAO under the CATNIP protocol - a blockchain protocol exploiting network flaws in Ethereum, for the benefit of stray cats. He developed algorithmic trading systems for Wall Street and also assisted with tracking down pedophiles on the darknet.
